Thailand’s conglomerate Banpu Plc has expressed interest to develop oil palm plantation in East Kalimantan, according to the province’s Head of Plantation Office, Etnawati.
She said recently that the Thai firm has met with local officials to disclose its palm oil investment plan.
Etnawati said that future oil palm development in the province will be focused in Bulungan and Berau regencies. (rei)
