ASKINDO (Indonesia Cocoa Association) Palu, Central Sulawesi reported that total export of cocoa from this area for December is 4,646.72 tons. This number is dropped by 20.14% compared to December 2010 where the quantity reahed 5,819.12 tons. Failed harvest due to erratic weather and low quality seeds is claimed as the main reason for current situation.
